Matt is Awesome Pt. 2

Thursday, March 22, 2007

Matt made it into the Volvo program. I am so proud of him. However he told me a few down falls... He is done December 7th ( the 5th anniversary of our first date) within 30 days he starts his new job, which he was told will more likely NOT be in Arizona. There are only 3 Volvo dealerships in AZ and rarely have openings. If one opens up it will be the first place he applies. He did look into several other states, right now there are some opening in Colorado Springs, CO (where Cousin Brian just moved). He is going to apply there first, then Texas, and then whatever is open on the East coast as a last resort. We love the west and have a strong desire to stay here. Although we realized that Phoenix is not the place we want to spend the rest of our lives. The other sad thing about all of this is that we will be moving him, and just him, before and over Christmas break. We will not be coming to Michigan this year. I'm sorry. It's really hard for me to know that not only after almost 6 months of Marriage I will have to live with out my husband until I am out of school in May, but I will not be able to spend Christmas with my family. This is such an exciting experience that I almost can't wait to move and start the next adventure. We will keep you all updated on what is to come once he starts his program in August. Until then we just wait and work towards getting married.... Talk to you soon.
Love,
Erin

These are the links to all of the pictures Jennifer took. For her first time doing engagement photos I think she did alright. She doesn't really like them but felt the wedding she shot this past weekend was much better because she had more control of the lighting. She's going to send me the link to check it out later. I am confident in her. So check out the links below and enjoy them.... ( for some reason blogger will not let me up load them today, oh well)

Matt recieved SOP (Student of the Phase) this past Phase in #24 Transport Refridgeration.... ooooooooh! Plus he has SOC (Student of the Course) from #36 Advanced Diagnostics..... aaaaaahhhh! Basically this means in these classes he got the highest over all grade. No one did better than him. The Little circle pin is just something he got and has no idea what it's for. He is wearing the new uniform, a polo shirt saying he is in the ford FACT program and his id tag is a little different. We are very excited!

T- Shirts made by me for my attendants

Monday, March 12, 2007

This is just Matt and Mine but the girls have white ones just like mine and the boys have blue ones just like Matt's. Chris has a gray one because I could find a white or blue (or purple one even) for him. Everyone of the shirts has the person's name one the sleeves.

i don't know how easter is supposed to work this year.

i haven't talked with my family about it at all. but, as i recall, i came down for the holiday last year, and i had loads of fun.

i would like to do it again, if at all possible.

however, there is something else, which complicates things even further, that i would also like very much to attend:

MIVE track day 2007!

who's with me?!

Boy how conceited does that sound? Well I'm trying not to be but this is pretty cool. The first is from the Arizona Republic's Surpise addition.

El Mirage Elementary

Art teacher Erin Rench has teamed with Artsonia, an online student art museum, to display the work of El Mirage students. Parents and community members can browse the school gallery at www.artsonia.com/schools/mirage1.

El Mirage will begin holding monthly art workshops for parents, students and teachers. In the next class, on March 27, participants will make painted stained-glass tiles.

The next one is from today's Daily News- Sun in Sun City I scanned it because I am so excited about it.

The last article is from our school newspaper The Tiger Beat on Thurday of this past week.

New Wedding items I feel I must share....

This is the ring bearer's pillow that Rachel made me. Isn't it beautiful? I couldn't have asked for more.

This is the dress I got at Ross. I added the purple ribbon, Rachel and I are debating whether or not to trim the bottom with purple robbon as well. I like it and it's pretty. I also added the purple flower but I'm not sure if it is going to stay or not.
